  6. News

The news in brief for this fine week of 8-14March,

Tristan is having problems of his own again this week and I quote “my turbo pump has blown so there will be no way I can make training on Thursday” (on his car for those who are wondering). But hey, stercus accidit, so we’ll just have to train without him.

Also, the individual intervarsities is on the 21st and 22nd of March in Maynooth, there are more details on the website in the events section, have a think about it and let us know at training.

  8. Have You seen This Man?
Tristan can’t make it this week. But we’ll soldier on without him!
More importantly we’ll be heading to the pub afterwards, where there will be a FREE DRINK and finger food.

  12. Latest news – change in training times

The arena staff had been double-booking the sprinting track on Wednesdays for the past two weeks so apologies to anyone who was caught up in that mess. Training is now rescheduled to run from 5-7 on Wednesdays and as usual, Tristan Parris will be coaching the Thursday training sessions (6-7 for beginners and from 7-8 for the intermediates). Training is still in the usual place, on the indoor sprint track in the arena.

There will also be a demonstration in the UL courtyard tomorrow (Wednesday 11th February) at 12  high noon. If you are interested come along, and if you’re passing stop by to say hello and to cheer on the fencers!

    See ya!
